On a personal note...
...I'm wearing my Nixon-Agnew button today. Given the contentious nature of this election, I figured it was appropriate to embrace a less divisive figure.

I grew up with Nixon and even worked for him in 1972. Obviously, the guy was paranoid and I felt that he deserved impeachment. But for whom would I vote if the choice was Nixon or George W. Bush? Nixon in a heartbeat. While many of his domestic policies haven't stood the test of time, I would by far trust Nixon over George W. regarding foreign affairs. The divisiveness of that time was largely due to the length and scope of the Vietnam War which was largely LBJ's fault, not Nixon's. (Even the expansion of that war into Cambodia.)
So, to me, in matters of policy and diplomacy, Nixon was a far less polarizing figure than George W. Bush. (Agnew and Cheney are a toss up.)
