HRC conspiracy theory, part whatever

For years I've been scoffed at for my insistent belief in Hillary's presidential aspirations. The events of the past week however, including her vote for Condoleezza Rice and her triangulation on abortion, leave little doubt: Hillary is running.

I'm accepting apologies now.

She can run. Why can't she? A lot of people want to be President. I am not going to apologize, however, for stating to you that I believe that she could've been happy continuing to serve in the Senate if Kerry had won. McCain wanted to be President, but he found that life can still be rewarding as a United States Senator.

Hillary is a smart politician who has done a credible job as senator for NYS. In my opinion, her contributions have far outweighed those of "America's senator", Daniel Patrick Moynihan who didn't do a damned thing for NY that I can recall.

In all candor, Barry, you could not have believed anyone who claimed that HRC was content as senator and held no aspirations for the highest position in our country. I never did.

Unlike many of my peers and betters from the right, I think she has a legitimate chance in 2008.

It is interesting to see her playing the centrist card that her husband did. Those who know the two seem to think she is, by far, the more liberal of the two. Can she stay the course for four years without blinking or winking?

I don't know.

As for McCain, I would be surprised if he doesn't try again, assuming no major health issues for him or Cindy.

He obviously loves the tender media coverage he receives from the MSM.

If he starts setting himself apart from the Bush admin during the next two years, consider it a given.

Also, consider that he will not do so as a Republican as the rank and file will kill him.

What Dems and the MSM don't realize is that he is much more popular with them than with us.
