Has anyone really called Cuban's health system "vaunted"? I don't recall meeting anyone who claimed this. I think the author of this article is doing a little "spin" of his/her own.
Maybe he/she is trying (in a roundabout fashion) to make a point that universal health care is a bad idea. But I think the U.S. could be in a position to do it. There is no good excuse in a country as wealthy as ours to have the amount of infant mortality that we do.
