Add this one to the list
Earlier this week I posted a link to an ABC news story cataloging the accomplishments the Bush Administration has been able to rack up while the Democrats were preoccupied with fitting Karl Rove for his noose. I guess you can now add a Senate bill to protect gun manufacturers from civil lawsuits. Even the New York Times is noticing that for a lame duck, George W. Bush isn't particularly lame.

It is such a DUMB bill. And the whole melodramatic presentation of it? Lindsey Graham actually called it a "culturally defining moment". You know what's culturally defining? That we have so many asswipés in elected office saying stupid crap like that.
And I heard on Evening Edition last night that with the passage of CAFTA (and upon W's signature), some oil company (Amaco or BP maybe?) is going to be filing a multi million dollar law suit against a CA country (Costa Rica maybe?) because of potentional loss of income because they are not allowed to drill off the coast in protected waters.
I'm so glad to see that Congress is making sure that there are no frivolous law suits.

I've managed to save up roughly $74408 in my bank account, but I'm not sure if I should buy a house or not. Do you think the market is stable or do you think that home prices will decrease by a lot?
