This is one of the few times that I agree completely with Krauthammer. This is a truly impressive article that puts things into prospective. Dont take me wrong. I am a liberal and I do NOT want a conservative judge. But nominating non-qualified people simply because they are the cronies of the president, is unacceptable to anyone who can think clearly, right or left.

You know that saying about politics making strange bedfellows; can you imagine liberals and the conservative Christian Right (and it's sort of starting to look like everyone in between) getting together over much else?
Maybe this is what W meant when he said he wanted to be a uniter?
P.S. I just heard W say that Miersie will be confirmed and we will all love her.

It's possible, K. At the very least, it seems to have awaken movement conservatives from their collective coma. The White House is in a very defensive posture on this one right out of the gate, with its own base. I don't expect it to get much better, either.

Well...he won't because Bush doesn't do that.
So this is an exercise in futility.
Jeez, Barry, you know better than this.
