Drinks are on me
If you find yourself in Hoboken after 5 PM this afternoon, stop by Oddfellow's Rest on River Street. I'm buying rounds to celebrate the untimely demise of Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi.

Only if you post the pic of the framed photo of dead Zarqawi; its a keeper, as were the death photos of Uday and Qusay!

I just paid a visit to DemocraticUnderground. They are apoplectic over this. They're more upset about this than they were about 9/11!

why is the DU apoplectic over this?
Because of the inevitable rise in President Bush's approval ratings.

Yeah, like 2%. The only way he will rise significantly is by bringing home lots of troops and keeping them here.
I read the brilliant breakfast comment. It was annoying. Bush is most likely wrong, but I'm sick of the attitude that anti-Bush bloggers give. It's so nasty, directionless and smarmy that even if they are right you don't want to listen

How about if we compromise and bring, say, 100,000 troops home from Europe and 77,000 home from Asia/Pacific?
I know it's not the same as bringing troops home from the war zone, but at least it's a start.
