Several years ago I had a young woman from India working for me as a mathematician. Very attractive young woman, but what was really interesting about her was that her grandfather was the Naga Rajan -- chief snake -- of India.
Don't misunderstand, I'm not saying that her grandfather was the chief snake guy in India. I mean that he was the chief snake, as in reptile. Apparently he was in human form for at least a brief period of his life.
I never met the guy, so I can't vouch for his reptilianess, but the young woman who worked for me never gave me any reason to doubt her word.
