I understand that the world seems to be worried right now that they've given Israel too much unquestioning support, but you've nailed it on the head, there.
Know why a cease-fire wasn't called for before this? Because no one else doing the attacking represents any kind of government that the U.N. can officially reprimand.

Actually Tami, Hamas was recently elected the Palestinian government.
They COULD certinaly have been reprimanded.
Syria controls Hamas and Iran controls Hezbollah, so they too COULD be reprimanded.
But who knows, maybe the UN just forgot.

The irony is that what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit and it's over -- no need for a UN sponsored cease-fire.

More right wingnut lunacy. The U.N. clearly reprimands the Arabs for terrorism. However, when they merely take prisoners in a war, and Israel uses it as an excuse to invade other sovereign nations (hmm, just like your daddy Chimpboy) then the U.N. pretty much has to say something.
Israel is a U.S. funded terrorist state, they murder innocent Lebanese civilians and Palestinian children throwing rocks.
You know it's true, but you are too cowardly to speak against the powerful Jews who might ruin your career.

Don't you have to be at war to "...take prisoners in a war[?]" And, um, if Hezbollah is at war with Israel, doesn't Israel get to...you know...fight back under the rules of war, or something?
"You know it's true, but you are too cowardly to speak against the powerful Jews who might ruin your career."
To whom was that directed?
