Sigh, Part II
Is there any reason I should watch the Lieberman-Lamont debate tonight? Any reason at all? I've tried my damnedest to care how this thing plays out, but I just can't seem to do it.

Is this the same Joe Lieberman who used to be "The Conscience of the Senate" back in the 2000 election?

Hey Barry,
Did you watch the debate? I did and here is what I thought of it.

Gosh, I can't imagine who you thought won. The suspense is killing me. ;-)

I dont want the suspense to kill you. You are a good guy. So click in the link to find out. What I found interesting is that when I visited right-wing blogger sites, many talk about how great Lieberman was yesterday. Republicans and wingnuts love Lieberman.

Contrary to popular belief, politics is NOT a Team sport, BW.
For instance, Bill Clinton got along better and cooperated more effectively with Newt Gingrich than Ted Kennedy.
Clinton KNEW that the only hope for the Dems was to move decidedly back to the Center, thus the DLC. In that vein, Liberman is a "Bill Clinton-Democrat."
Too bad that message is largely lost on today's Democrats from Al Gore to Howard Dean to the rest of the Moore/Sheehan-wing of that Party.
