Memo to the GOP
I'll ask the Republicans the same question my father used to ask me after deliberately allowing me to make some colossal (if instructive) mistake, and I was lying on my back, bruised and bloody.
"So.... Do you know what you did wrong?"

You have a black that you lie on? Why Barry!
I know you are a neocon, but slavery is still illegal so you should set the black free.

Well, I did spend my formative years in South Carolina, after all. Meanwhile, the original post has been "updated," to reflect a more "diverse" tenor and tone.

Sure, but I can't edit all my gaffes.
It's unfair, Barry. YOU are unfair. Now that the Dems are back in power, they are going to make you be fair.

Well, they've apparently decided (a little late) that leaving Rumsfeld as SoD wasn't such a great idea.

I agree with Daily Kos who just nominated Joe Lieberman for the post :)

Think carefully, Blue. Connecticut's governor will backfill Lieberman's seat with a Republican. ;-)

I know, I was kidding (and so was Kos I guess). I am not happy at all though that Lieberman was reelected (as you know). My opinion of him is not that different from the opinion I have of George Allen or, lets say, Donald Rumsfeld.
