This is really terrible. I hope it turns around later today. I was afraid it would happen though after the talk last night.

Those ranks are in the process of getting decimated...layoffss already in the works in California, New York, even Kansas.
In NYC, Bloomberg increased the Municipal workforce by almost 10,000 since 2001....tax receipts from the private sector made that possible...with the private sector getting hammered, the public sector is just beginning to feel the squeeze.
